Role Summary
* In this role, you will support the organization’s T-7 program by maintaining, inspecting, and troubleshooting aircraft systems while ensuring strict adherence to safety, technical data, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with both experienced and junior technicians, perform component-level repairs, and support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities. This position requires the ability to work onsite, follow established procedures, and operate effectively within a high-tempo flight readiness environment. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Must have a minimum of 5–7 years of aircraft maintenance experience with a focus on troubleshooting and repair.
* Must have experience leading or supervising personnel in aircraft maintenance tasks.
* Must have flexibility to work rotating shifts as required.
* Must have experience troubleshooting aircraft malfunctions down to the component level.
* Must have knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements.
* Must have familiarity with quality management systems and strict adherence to established procedures.
* Must have knowledge of electronics, electrical schematics, and circuits.
* Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and shop-floor environments. Preferred Skills
* You will have experience working on Development Programs or Flight Test Programs.
* You will have experience developing relationships with U.S. government personnel.
* You will have familiarity with DoD systems, including AFTO 781 forms and IMDS.
* You will have experience supporting quality management and aviation compliance initiatives.
* You will have strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques. Job Duties / Functions
* You will be maintaining, inspecting, and troubleshooting T-7 aircraft systems, including communication/navigation, mechanical, electrical, and instrument systems.
* You will be using technical orders, schematics, and diagrams to diagnose faults and perform component-level repairs.
* You will be operating ground support equipment and conducting maintenance tasks on assigned aircraft.
* You will be opening and removing aircraft panels not requiring Command and Response to perform inspections and troubleshooting.
* You will be ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and tool-control regulations.
* You will be completing manual and electronic maintenance records in accordance with USAF and organizational policies.
* You will be training and mentoring junior or less-experienced technicians as needed.
* You will be participating in scheduled inspections and maintenance requirements as outlined in the maintenance program.
* You will be performing additional duties and responsibilities as required by the facility.
