Role Summary
* In this role, you will provide critical production support to the organization’s Delivery Center, contributing to improved production efficiency, safety, and optimized product quality. You will perform routine final component installation and verification, as well as systems operational and functional validation testing. You will also support rework, modification, maintenance, preflight, and post-flight checks for aircraft delivery. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
* Must have a minimum of 6 months of avionics and/or electrical experience.
* Must have a minimum of 6 months of experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations.
* Must have a minimum of 6 months of experience or knowledge of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk.
* Must have at least 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate).
* Must have the ability to work any shift, including days, nights, and weekends. Preferred Skills
* You will have 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* You will have an FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
* You will have at least 6 months of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing.
* You will have at least 6 months of experience with the 787 Program.
* You will have familiarity with the Client Production System.
* You will have at least 6 months of experience with Field/Flight Line Operations. Job Duties / Functions
* You will be performing flight test installations and aircraft functional testing.
* You will be assisting in troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or electrical/electronic faults and assist in repairing faulty components.
* You will be assisting with pre-flight and post-flight checks and performing maintenance and modification actions.
* You will be resolving identified problems during the operation and testing of deliverable products.
* You will be verifying the accuracy of work performed and may conduct self-inspections.
* You will be assisting in performing system and sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance in preparation for delivery.
* You will be participating in determining the details of assignments to accomplish a wide range of objectives.
* You will be planning, scheduling, and arranging your own activities with the assistance of a lead; work will be reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
* You will be exhibiting professional behaviors aligned with organizational standards.
