About the Role

This position provides critical production support to the Delivery Center, focusing on improving production efficiency, safety, and optimizing product quality. Flight Readiness Technicians perform routine final component installation and verification, as well as systems operational functional validation testing. Responsibilities include rework, modification, maintenance, and preflight/post-flight checks for delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform flight test installations and aircraft functional testing.
• Assist in troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to isolate faults and repair components.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks, maintenance, and modification actions.
• Resolve issues identified during operation and testing of deliverable products.
• Verify accuracy of work performed and conduct self-inspections.
• Support system and sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance.
• Plan and schedule activities with guidance from lead; work reviewed upon completion.

• Ability to work any shift (days, nights, weekends).
• Minimum 6 months of avionics and/or electrical experience.
• Minimum 6 months experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations.
• Knowledge of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years related work experience or equivalent education/experience.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant license.
• Aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with Client Production System.
• Familiarity with Field/Flight Line Operations.

Education/Experience

• Associate Level B: High School diploma/GED and typically 1+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
