LAUNCH Teams is hiring licensed Flight Readiness Level D mechanics for a position in Victorville, CA.
Project Information:

• Perform 787 Heavy maintenance tasks including but not limited to; Landing Gear replacements, Slat removal/inspection/installation, Flight control replacement/ops checks
• Perform Boeing service task cards including lubes, filter replacements and component replacements
• Knowledge and ability to perform corrosion removal and retreat surfaces to original specifications
• Ability/willingness to work interior access and component removal/installation.  Components include monuments and passenger seats
• Perform Service Bulletin installation and functional checks
• Knowledge of systems to perform troubleshooting of systems in a proficient manner
• Maintain a clean and FOD free work area
• Proficient flight deck operations of all Boeing models
• My Boeing Fleet/Toolbox knowledge for efficiency in manual references
• Meets RS requirements

Qualifications and requirements:

• A&P License
• 7 years experience in MRO environment
• 787 and 777 Aircraft modifications
• Proficient flight deck operations of all Client models requirements
• Proficient troubleshooting a/c systems
• Proficient software loading

Job Details :

• Verifies product conformance to design requirements.
• Provides objective evidence of results.
• Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies and procedures.
• Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items.
• Performs in process inspections of aircraft maintenance.
• Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
• Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
• Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
• Understand and use approved technical specifications, sketches, manuals, drawings, engineering instructions, including FAA forms and publications to accomplish work assignments.
• Maintain proficiency in the use of various inspection aids.
• Ensure work is in accordance with FAA approved/accepted documents [e.g., engineering drawings, Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), and FAA approved SBs.
• Ensure compliance with standard practices and requirements (e.g., torque, bonding, safety wiring, and sealing).
• Ensure all parts installed are new or serviceable and have appropriate documentation (e.g., FAA Form 8130-3 or equivalent).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A&P Certificate
• AS9100 training
• 787 General Familiarization Course.
