Lone Mountain Helicopters is looking for a full time maintenance technician with experience on the H-145 D3. Our technicians are responsible for ensuring maintenance performed by he/she is accomplished is in accordance with the Company Operation Specifications Approved by the FAA, (for air carriers), Company Maintenance Policies/Procedure(s) and in accordance with the FAA and Manufacturers Airworthiness Standards as prescribed by applicable regulations, directives and good industry standard practices, for each type of aircraft, power plant or equipment that this company maintains.
- He/she is responsible for training and assisting his department personnel in the procedures, methods and practices to be followed in each respective duty, and will assure that all maintenance technicians will be adequately qualified prior to assigning them to any maintenance function.
- He/she is responsible for maintaining all equipment, tools and facilities in serviceable and working condition.
- He/she is responsible for making available to all departments the necessary overhaul manuals, service bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and any other required technical data.
- He/she is responsible for maintaining that all necessary work records are properly executed by the responsible mechanic.
- He/she is responsible for maintaining the premises of the repair facility in an orderly manner.
- He/she is responsible for initiating requisitions for stock and material as required.
- Manages the aircraft maintenance activities including overhaul, modifications, maintenance and repair of aircraft structure, engines and accessories.
- Discharges his duties to meet applicable legal requirements and to maintain safe operations.
- Has a full understanding of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.
- Coordinates closely with maintenance contracting agencies when maintenance activities are being performed on Company aircraft.
- Orders anticipated parts, lubricants, etc., in sufficient quantity to insure no aircraft down time for these items.
- Is accountable for all expendable items.
- Maintains close liaison with appropriate personnel to provide current status aircraft and forecast down times.
- Maintains weight and balance records of the aircraft.
- Determines personnel requirements based on present and projected workloads.
- He/she will assure that MRR and MIS reports required by CFR 135 are submitted.
- Maintains training records for company maintenance personnel.
- He/she must be highly knowledgeable of the Aircraft Manufacturer's Maintenance Manual, inspection and maintenance specifications, applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and applicable portions of the operations manual. He/she maintains close liaison with local FAA on maintenance matters.
- He/she may delegate functions to other personnel, but retains responsibility. He/she must be familiar with the contents of the Company manual and highly knowledgeable in CFR’s and other publications pertinent to his duties.
