Job Description SummaryWorking as part of an integrated global team, in this role you will contribute to the mechanical design of advanced systems and their technology maturation vehicles, with the aim at supporting product evolution and preliminary design activities for future programs.
The job position refers to Advanced Technology Operations with a specific focus on advanced technology demonstrators, through a range of sub-scale and full scale rigs, and pre-TG3 activities.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities
Lead components design activities for tests vehicles and new technologies introduction
Development of new mechanical concepts to power new engine architectures
Support additive initiatives through design concepts and trials
Lead rigs layout definition supporting technology maturation plan
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated across the demonstration phases consistency with engineering policies and procedures
Support technical and program reviews
Effectively communicate and provide recommendations through the analysis, preparation and presentation of technical data to the extended team
Participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives
Share engineering information and promote open dialogue
Qualifications/RequirementsExpert level knowledge of Advanced CAD Systems (NX preferred)
Good knowledge of complex 2D and 3D shapes modelling CAD techniques
Knowledge of PDE GE procedures and workflow
Good knowledge of fundamental mechanical design concepts, mechanics of materials, design hand calculations
Clear thinking and diligent approach
English and Italian language knowledge, both written and oral.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
