About Us
We are a specialized aircraft engine overhaul shop focused on piston engines, known for delivering industry-leading quality and service to our customers.
We’re a small, tight-knit team. Every person here plays a critical role in the work we do and the reputation we’ve built.
If you take pride in precision, accountability, and doing things the right way, you’ll fit in well here.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced mechanic to join our team working on piston aircraft engine overhauls – primarily Lycoming and Continental engines.
Our shop is an FAA licensed Part 145 repair station. Therefore an individual A&P license is not required. We have a robust training program for non-aircraft engine mechanics (i.e. auto mechanics)
This is a hands-on position where your work directly impacts safety, performance, and customer trust. You won’t be a number here — your contribution will be visible and valued every day.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Disassemble, inspect, and overhaul piston aircraft engines
- Measure, evaluate, and ensure components meet spec and tolerances
- Reassemble engines with a high level of precision and care
- Follow technical manuals and documentation standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Collaborate closely with a small team to deliver top-tier results
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of mechanical experience
- Engine experience preferred
- A&P certification a nice-to-have, not a need-to-have
- High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Reliable, accountable, and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn and adapt to aviation standards
- Basic tools required
Why This Role Is Different
- Small team, high impact — every person matters here
- No assembly-line mentality — quality over speed
- Meaningful work — what you do directly affects safety and performance
- Supportive environment where your work is respected
- No nights or weekends. We observe a traditional work week. M-F, 8-5.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
- Overtime availability
- Employer sponsored medical, dental, vision
- PTO (increases based on tenure)
- Employer sponsored retirement plan (with employer matching)
- Taco Tuesdays! Breakfast tacos from Catrina Fresh Mex every Tuesday morning.
How to Apply
If you’re an experienced mechanic who takes pride in doing things right—and wants to be part of a team where your work truly matters—we’d love to hear from you.
