JOB TITLE: General Maintenance Technician

Summary:
Set up, use, and safely take down ladders and temporary work structures.
Perform manual labor tasks such as pulling carpet, removing/installing floor coverings (tile, laminate, resilient flooring), and general material handling.
Conduct basic carpentry work: framing, door hanging, trim installation, and shelving.
Complete simple plumbing repairs (faucet replacement, drain clearing, fixture re-capping).
Use hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches) and power tools (drills, saws, rotary hammers, sanders).
Perform routine equipment maintenance and periodic facility inspections.
Accurately document maintenance activities and completed work.
Support renovation projects, demolition tasks, material transport, and site clean-up.
Adhere to all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific procedures.
Consistently use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
1 2 years experience in facilities maintenance, construction, or a related trade (preferred).
Ability to climb ladders up to 20 ft on a regular basis.
Able to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive lifting or material handling.
Capable of working at heights and in confined spaces.
Comfortable with frequent standing, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and physical labor.
Ability to work in environments with dust, noise, and vibration (PPE provided).
Primarily indoor work (office, warehouse, production areas) with occasional outdoor exposure.
Willingness to work shift, weekend, or night hours as needed for maintenance schedules.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
