Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Performs flight controls installation, removal, and rigging.
Performs landing gear servicing and aircraft servicing tasks.
Performs component change outs including servo pumps, filters, and engine components.
Reads and interprets engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements for structural modification and repair.
Accesses aircraft data via computer systems and initiates on-line parts and discrepancy requests.
Diagnoses and corrects malfunctions occurring in assembly processes.
Uses precision measuring instruments, gauges, and tools to check dimensions and conformance to quality requirements.
Ensures equipment is used in accordance with established safety and operating procedures.
Applies Hazardous Energy and Lock Out or Tag systems for safe working environment.
Performs depot level maintenance on aircraft exterior and interior systems including hydraulic, flight control, monuments, landing gears, fuel systems, and engines.
Requirements:
Ability to Obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
9+ years of experience in Depot Level or Heavy General maintenance.
9+ years of experience working on aircraft exterior and interior systems including hydraulic, flight control, monuments, landing gears, fuel systems, and engines.
9+ years of experience working with schematics, specifications, assembly drawings, and standard operating procedures.
Willingness to work weekends and overtime.
Ability to ascend and descend vertical work ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift loads of approximately 35 pounds.
Ability to pass visual acuity and color perception tests and ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
Ability to handle, use, and dispose of hazardous materials.
Preferred: Aircraft Rigging Expertise and experience in aircraft heavy maintenance (Depot Level or Modifications).
Preferred: Experience performing aircraft engine runs, engine borescope inspections, and ability to operate forklift, mobile crane, and electric powered elevating equipment.
