Aircraft Technician - Vertical Lift

Contract Position
$17.63-$29.93/Hour

Responsibilities:
- Complete documentation accurately
- Operate tools and equipment such as wire strippers, crimpers, wire identification and associated tools
- Assemble, disassemble, install, test, troubleshoot, rework, repair and modify aircraft mechanical or electrical assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, systems, following manufacturing planning, blueprints, schematics, process specifications, engineering sketches, written and oral instructions.
- Identify nonconforming parts, conditions and processes.Inspect assemblies, component parts, and airframe structures for non-conformance.
- Report discrepancies to manufacturing self-examination (MSE), corrective action (C/A), or manufacturing supervision.
- Ensure all assemblies and detail parts are free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and non-conformance issues.
- Report all non-conformances to manufacturing supervision or corrective action representative.
- Prepare rejection tags noting deviations from specifications on dimensions, finishes, material, processes, or quality when required.
- Follow all safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions to safety officials or manufacturing supervision.
- Report on job status and restraints to coworkers and supervision.
- Identify production inefficiencies and suggest potential improvements to product or process.
- Work in a team atmosphere and displays a positive attitude
- Work overtime as required
Qualifications:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Electrical technician with wire harness experience,
