We are looking for 3 inspectors with shifts available on 1st & 2nd shift
Summary:
Responsible for ensuring that all aircraft maintenance is accomplished in accordance with the Repair Station/Quality Control Manual and current Federal Aviation Regulations.
Actively engage with the in-process inspection and return to service of aircraft in maintenance.
Assist in the continual process improvement of the maintenance department by identifying risks and participating in determining and implementing processes and procedures.
Mitigate risk and promote a safe working environment.
Provide technical guidance in aircraft maintenance and inspection techniques and procedures per technical manuals, work standards and operational policies.
Perform in-process and final inspections of aircraft.
Ensure for the timely and accurate completion of all aircraft maintenance records, reports and forms to ensure on-time RTS.
Ensure that all maintenance is performed in accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals, Operator/Air Carrier Manuals and safe standard practices.
Fosters an atmosphere of continuous improvement regarding aircraft maintenance, safe practices and process improvement.
Ensure that all maintenance is performed in accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals, Operator/Air Carrier Manuals and safe standard practices.
Assist with development and writing of revisions to the Repair Station/Quality Control Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, and Safety Bulletins.
Assure that procedures used in procurement and reception of aircraft parts will guard against "unapproved" parts from entering the parts system and to ensure that any such parts are detected before their use.
Assist Chief Inspector with maintaining employee training, vendor audits and tool calibration requirements.
Qualifications:
Key Skills: 5 years inspection OR maintenance PART 145 or PART 135, Gulfstream OR Challenger
OR: GULFSTREAM Airframe OR Challenger Airframe aircraft model or training with certificate from those schools.
Required Skills:
5+ years on EITHER Gulfstream aircraft (G4, G450, G5) and Challenger aircraft inspections
OR RII inspection background
OR Gulfstream Airframe School OR Challenger Airframe School
Preference for: FAA approved flight safety training, CAE, etc
5 years of experience in Part 145 corporate aircraft maintenance required.
Gulfstream (G200, GIV, GV, G550, G650), Challenger 300/600 series
FAA Airframe & Powerplant license required, Inspection Authorization is a plus
Strong working knowledge of FAR 145 and 135 regulations
Above average written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong Computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree in related field preferred
