Job Title: Heavy Duty Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to maintain and repair a variety of equipment, including both non-powered and powered machinery such as dollies, towbars, aircraft stairs, baggage carts, and ramp vehicles.

Essential Skills
- Troubleshooting skills with heavy equipment.
- Experience with diesel engines.
- Blueprint reading capability.
- Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification.
- 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or ground support equipment technician.
- Possession of own basic hand tools.
- Ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
- Knowledge in hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, and mechanical troubleshooting.
Work Environment
This role is based in Calgary, within a facility that houses over 100 staff, including cargo and aircraft mechanics. The team currently comprises two technicians, with virtual management support. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with opportunities for overtime. The environment is highly collaborative and team-oriented, located on airport grounds.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $97500.00/yr.
