Job Title: Inspector
Job DescriptionAs an Inspector, you will be responsible for the meticulous inspection of various aircraft parts, including bonded panels, flight controls, and thrust reversers. You will locate defects and record dimensions using calibrated tools, ensuring compliance with quality standards. You will also perform receiving inspections, review traceability requirements, and conduct detailed inspections, including first article audits and repair & overhaul activities.
Responsibilities
- Inspect various aircraft parts, including bonded panels and flight controls.
- Locate defects and accurately record dimensions using calibrated tools.
- Perform receiving inspections and review traceability requirements.
- Conduct detailed inspections, including first article audits.
- Audit repair and overhaul activities.
- Utilize statistical analysis methods and generate reports.
- Assist internal staff with internal and external audits, including FAA/EASA, and AS9110.
- Review chemical etch line testing and report tracking.
- Analyze and audit processes such as autoclave, heat treat ovens, and composite lay-up.
- Conduct nondestructive testing, including ultrasonic testing.
Essential Skills- Detailed mechanical knowledge and skills in build-up and assembly of flight controls.
- Experience in composite repairs, lay-up, and finish inspection.
- Process knowledge in heat treatment, plating, coatings, and composites.
- Experience with first article reports and coordinating with engineering in design.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- High School Diploma with five years of experience as an inspector in a quality environment, preferably in a FAR 145 repair station.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with composites is highly preferred.
- Sound, fact-based decision-making skills.
- Teamwork attitude.
Work EnvironmentYou will be working in a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environment, focusing on high-quality standards and detailed inspections. The role requires flexibility in working hours, including the possibility of overtime.

This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
