Be the Standard of Quality in Aerospace: Inspector First Shift, Everett, WA
Role Summary & ImpactPDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire a detail-driven Inspector to support high-visibility cabin and interior programs. In this critical role, you’ll ensure products meet strict quality and safety standards, directly impacting customer satisfaction and the reliability of aerospace systems. Your work will help maintain excellence across production, inspection, and new product introduction activities.
What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities)Perform mechanical and cosmetic inspections on aerospace components and assemblies
Conduct quality inspection services for incoming goods, returns, and in-process assemblies
Support new product introduction (NPI) quality control activities
Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with established requirements
Document non-conformances and escalate major quality issues to leadership
Ensure all inspection activities comply with company quality standards and health & safety procedures
Collaborate closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to support production flow
Required QualificationsSolid inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
Strong verbal, written, and numerical communication skills
Working knowledge of quality tools and methodologies including 8D reporting, 5 Whys, and corrective action reports
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred QualificationsAerospace or highly regulated manufacturing experience
Experience with cosmetic and mechanical inspection standards
Familiarity with quality documentation systems and audit processes

Pay Details: $27.64 per hour
