Position Overview
EPC Aerospace Aircraft Maintenance Services LLC is seeking an experienced Aircraft Quality Inspector to support maintenance operations on commercial aircraft including Airbus, Boeing, and CRJ platforms.
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance, repair, and alteration activities comply with regulatory requirements, approved technical data, and company quality procedures. This position plays a critical role in maintaining airworthiness standards and ensuring that aircraft are returned to service in full compliance with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification work.
- Ensure work performed complies with approved maintenance data and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve maintenance documentation, logbook entries, and work packages.
- Conduct receiving inspections for aircraft parts and components.
- Verify proper installation of components and systems.
- Perform final inspections and authorize aircraft return to service when applicable.
- Identify and document discrepancies or non-conformances.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations.
- Work closely with maintenance technicians, engineering staff, and management to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Work Environment
- Shift Details: Day
- Work performed in aircraft hangar and ramp environments.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights or weekends if required.
- Must be able to access confined spaces and work at heights when necessary.
