Location: Rocky Mount, NC
Schedule: Monday–Friday Flexible start between 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM 8-hour shifts
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Inspector to join our quality control team. This role is responsible for operating and calibrating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform dimensional inspections on manufactured parts. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with CMM systems, and a solid understanding of quality control methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
Setup and Calibration

Set up and calibrate CMM systems based on measurement requirements
Adjust tooling and parameters to ensure accurate readings

Inspection and Measurement

Operate CMM equipment to inspect manufactured parts
Record and analyze measurement data; document results accurately
Investigate discrepancies between measured data and engineering specifications

Quality Assurance

Conduct routine checks to maintain quality standards
Collaborate with QA teams to identify defect trends and corrective actions
Prepare and maintain inspection reports

Troubleshooting and Maintenance

Troubleshoot CMM equipment issues and coordinate repairs
Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime

Collaboration and Communication

Work with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues
Communicate inspection results and quality concerns effectively

Qualifications
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical degree in a related field preferred

Experience:

Minimum 5 years operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing or QC environment
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and engineering drawings is a plus

Skills:

Proficient in CMM programming and measurement software
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Understanding of quality control standards and methodologies
Certification in CMM operation or quality control is a plus

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally

Compensation & Bonus:

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Subco Bonus Program – Earn up to $3,000!
$1,000 at 30 days with perfect attendance
$1,000 at 60 days
$1,000 at 90 days
(Must receive 14-day bonus to qualify for 60- and 90-day bonuses)

Shift:

1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3 PM

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
