BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 2+ years of hands on experience in assembly, test, maintenance, repair and/or installation, OR a certificate from an accredited trade skills program
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with thermal protection systems (TPS) or phenolic impregnated carbon ablators (PICA)
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, an understanding for drawing symbols, flag notes and general notes
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, read SOPs (standard operating procedures)
- Attention to detail and accuracy while working within a fast-paced production environment
- Experience around composite structures, to include TPS removal/bonding, fastener removal/installation, and drilling
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to pass Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral
- Ability to work the following shift: Monday – Friday 6:00am – 4:30pm
- Ability to pass SAR/SCAPE medical qualifications and perform operations in SAR/SCAPE
- Available to work all required shift hours and be available to work overtime, and weekends, as needed
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 lbs.) unassisted
- Ability to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body, working in cramped positions in small openings and climbing hand over hand
- Ability to work at elevated heights (up to 100 feet)
- Work performed in an environment requiring exposure to fumes, odors, and noise
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay range:
Integration Technician/Level 1: $20.00 - $27.00/hour
Integration Technician/Level 2: $25.00 - $32.50/hour
Integration Technician/Level 3: $30.00 - $38.00/hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
