Role Summary
* The Interior Remove & Install Technician on the evening shift is responsible for fabricating, installing, refurbishing, and maintaining aircraft interior components in accordance with work orders, customer requests, manuals, and regulatory requirements while supporting overall maintenance operations at the facility and off-site locations as needed. Education & Job Requirements
* You must have
* A minimum of 3 to 5 years of Interiors Remove and Install experience on corporate aircraft.
* The ability to break down cabinets, remove hardware, and perform inlay work.
* The ability to strip finishes using heat and a scraper.
* Experience sanding and prepping raw veneer and hardwood for finish, including touching up defects in veneer.
* Experience mixing, matching, and applying stains and paints on new veneers.
* Knowledge of spraying polyester base coats and urethane top coats.
* Experience with aircraft touch-up work.
* The ability to mask and unmask components for the finishing process.
* Mechanical aptitude.
* The ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
* The ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form regarding individual and aircraft status.
* Basic PC skills. Preferred Skills

* Experience working efficiently during evening shift operations.
* The ability to adapt to changing workloads, including drop-in and planned maintenance tasks.
* The willingness to support multiple maintenance disciplines as needed. Job Duties & Functions
* You will be able
* Fabricate, install, and refurbish aircraft interior equipment and furnishings per work order or customer request.
* Perform and document all work performed in accordance with appropriate manuals and regulations.
* Adhere to the companys general work requirements for factory, shop, and hangar positions.
* Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
* Participate in 5-S activities within the facility.
* Assist with additional work on drop-ins and planned maintenance during slow periods of unplanned work.
* Clean aircraft as required.
* Travel on international assignments if required.
* Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed.
* Assist other maintenance disciplines as required.
