We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Specialist specializing in MH-60R & MH-60S Planned Maintenance Interval (PMI) / O-Level Maintenance & Squadron Support located at Rota Spain. 

The Logistics Specialist manages and coordinates logistics, supply chain, and inventory support for aviation maintenance operations. This role ensures timely availability of parts, materials, and equipment to support operational requirements, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. 

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the receipt, storage, issuance, and distribution of aircraft parts, tools, and materials.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct audits, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain logistics documentation, including shipping/receiving records, inventory reports, and maintenance support records.
• Track and report on the status of parts, materials, and shipments to ensure operational readiness.
• Collaborate with maintenance, procurement, and project management teams to prioritize and fulfill material requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards in all logistics operations.
• Support planning and forecasting to optimize inventory and reduce downtime.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency in logistics and supply chain operations.
• May include collateral duties as defined on COMNAVAIRFOR 4790.2 series Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP)

Required Experience: 

• Minimum of 5 years’ current or previous experience in performing logistics/supply functions in a Naval Aviation environment to include but not limited to: 

• • Order, store, check and issue repair parts and other equipment and goods 
  • Receive, sort, inspect and deliver arriving material 
  • Maintain inventory databases and prepare reports and correspondence 
  • Maintain financial logs and records 
  • Operate computer systems that provide logistic support information 
  • Manage inventories of repair parts/general supplies

•  Proficiency with maintenance tracking systems (e.g., NALCOMIS, OOMA, ALIS, or equivalent).
• Extensive knowledge of MH-60R/S systems and maintenance procedures.
• Exceptional working knowledge of NAMP (COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2) and NALCOMIS/OOMA.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Pass a background check.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card or ROTA Base Access ID.
• Active Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain one, if required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, push, pull and manipulate 50lbs independently when needed. 
• Ability to climb and stand on ladders when necessary.
• Must be able to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs.
• Position involves long periods of standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling on aircraft structure and around aircraft for maintenance functions. 
• Position may require use and/or exposure to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids and cleaning solvents.
• Position is located near or in a high noise area within an aircraft hangar / flightline environment.
• FIT for Duty Physical is required.
• May require DOT and Respiratory Physicals.
