Calling all MIG Welders! PDS TECH has immediate openings for 1st shift MIG welders, only 1 year of experience required.
Job Description:
Willingness to learn, follow directions and take initiative.
Welding role where the candidate will be MIG welding on Steel pipes.-The welding will be done by a machine but must have some welding experience to understand the quality of the welds. Weld test will be completed and candidate must arrive to the interview with weld helmet to complete the test.
Pay rate will be provided once the interview and weld test is completed
Must haves:
1 year of MIG welding experience
1 year Machine operation experience
Tape measure
Responsibilities:
Be responsible for welding carbon outlets onto steel pipe to serve the fire sprinkler industry.
Perform specialty welding tasks; spool pieces, flanges, etc.
Mig welding working with Carbon Steel and Galvanized.
Qualifications:
Welding experience is strongly preferred-Mig Welding in Flat position
General computer skills.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Weld outlets onto steel pipe to serve the fire sprinkler industry
Perform specialty welding tasks; spool pieces, flanges, etc.
Inspects work for defects, dimensions, alignment, end preparations, and seem splits in pipe
Maintain a clean and safe welding station while conforming to standards of quality and performance
Reports all equipment malfunctions, safety issues, and requires repairs
Comments for Suppliers: Monday through Friday 6:00am-3:30pm, over time to be expected could work until 4:30 pm 1/2 hour unpaid lunch. Weld test will be completed during interview.

Pay Rate$26.00
Pay Details: $26.00 per hour
