Job Description:
STS Technical Services is hiring Machine Operators in Glendale, Wisconsin. Job Summary: The third shift Machine Operator plays a vital role in their manufacturing operations by producing high-quality products. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities: Machine Operation: Operate various types of machinery and equipment, including but not limited to:

Printing presses, label applicators, cutting machines, and packaging equipment.

Setup and Calibration:

Set up machines, load materials, and adjust settings according to product specifications and production requirements.
Ensure machines are calibrated for accurate and consistent output.

Quality Control:

Monitor production processes to ensure product quality meets the company’s standards.
Perform visual inspections and quality checks at regular intervals.

Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Report any malfunctions or issues to the maintenance team for repairs.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate production records, including machine operation logs, quality control data, and production quantities.

Material Handling:

Handle raw materials and finished products carefully, ensuring proper storage and transportation within the facility.

Efficiency Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest enhancements to increase productivity and reduce waste.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
10+ years’ experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and understand technical documents, specifications, and work instructions.
Attention to detail and strong commitment to product quality.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy materials when required.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
