Job Summary

Troubleshooting and repairing CNC Milling equipment (this includes but not limited to adjusting, repairing or replacing defective parts, install special functional and structural parts in machinery, listening to the machinery sounds to locate causes of trouble.  Work to support Factory and production needs.  Installs equipment using hand and power tools; constructs foundations; aligns machines; performs scheduled inspection and maintenance.  Sets up and operates machine tools and fabrication machinery to rework or make new parts.

Job Responsibilities

• Trouble shoots, repairs and maintains industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such as CNC Machines, equipment, presses, lathes, mills, motors, pneumatic tools, and other production machines. 

• Trouble shoots, repairs and maintains industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such as CNC Machines, equipment, mills, cranes, motors, pneumatic tools, and other production machines.  
• Responsible for electrical, hydraulic, robotic arms, pneumatic and mechanical aspects of repair.  
• Dismantles, moves, assembles, installs, and repairs industrial machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions
• Installs equipment using hand and power tools; constructs foundations; aligns machines; performs scheduled inspection and maintenance.  
• Sets up and operates machine tools and fabrication machinery to rework or make new parts. Ability to lift 100 lbs. on occasion.

Job Requirements:
Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience in machine maintenance.  
• 4+ years of experience using a volt meter to check for presence of voltage (0-480VAC) 
• 4+ years of experience 3 phase motor troubleshooting experience
• 4+ years of experience with motor control circuits, contactors, VFDs, and servos
• 4+ years of experience with basic electronics, electrical/electronic training, basic computer repair
• 4+ years of experience with rebuilding equipment containing some or all: thrust bearings, precision ball bearings, ball screws, linear way bearings


Preferred Qualifications:
• GKN Experience 
• Machine Certification
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic devices and their operation
• Able to use precision measuring tools (dial caliper, depth micrometer, dial indicator, wire gauge, to  0.0001
