QualificationsEducation:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience within the last 10 years, supporting fixed-wing aircraft in an operational, flight-test, or research environment.
- At least 2 years of experience in maintenance planning, production control, or maintenance operations coordination, supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating maintenance execution across multiple functional areas (maintenance, QA, supply, engineering, and operations).
Technical & Systems Experience:
- Experience using aircraft maintenance management systems such as NAMIS, IMDS, Maximo, or equivalent Government or commercial systems.
- Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance documentation, work packages, discrepancy tracking, and maintenance status reporting.
Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of FAA maintenance standards, applicable 14 CFR requirements, and/or military or NASA maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with NASA flight operations, test aircraft environments, or Government-owned aircraft maintenance programs preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required NASA badging and system access.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including off-shifts or extended hours, in support of flight operations and maintenance demands.
- Must meet all physical and environmental requirements necessary to work in hangar, ramp, and aircraft maintenance environments.
Working Environment
A fast paced multi-tasking customer service oriented environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance. Adaptability regarding schedule and task changes is necessary to accommodate changing priorities. Overtime may be required.
