2nd and 3rd shift Maintenance Technicians (Mechanic) will work under general maintenance requests and repairs in accordance with work order. Maintenance Technicians (Mechanic) will utilize hand tools, precision measuring and testing instruments, diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer specifications to perform routine, preventative, and predictive maintenance. Maintenance Technicians (Mechanic) will work on manufacturing and warehouse machinery, equipment, transport vehicles and production tools.

GKN (Garden Grove) Work Schedules:
- 2nd Shift - 2:00PM - 10:30PM (Pay differential $.35 per hour)
- 3rd Shift - 9:45PM - 6:15AM (Pay differential $.40 per hour)

• Maintenance Technicians (Mechanic) designs and modifies designs for machine, apparatus or equipment.
• Maintenance Technicians (Mechanic) prepare necessary construction details and determines production methods.
• Provides assistance, as required on construction, manufacturing methods, materials and processes.
• Maintenance Technicians (Mechanic) plans and/or performs the construction and installation of engines, machines, and industrial equipment.
• Works to tolerances as required for satisfactory operation of equipment and code specifications.
• Maintenance Technicians (Mechanic) trouble shoots and corrects mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Performs welding, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and cabinet work.
• Maintenance Technicians (Mechanic) performs work with minimal supervision, to include other duties as assigned.
• Maintenance Technicians (Mechanic) will be lifting materials and equipment up to 50 pounds with assistance to support maintenance.

• High School diploma or GED
• 1 years experience in maintenance for manufacturing, production and warehouse facilities
• U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirements.
