Relocating to Montrose is Not required! As a MBR Helicopters mechanic, you will be a part of our highly skilled professional team maintaining our helicopters at our home base and in the field for our  government and private contracts across the United States, involving a variety of aerial operations including Powerline Construction, Powerline Survey, Wildland Firefighting, Search and Rescue, Wildlife Survey, Heavy Lift Construction, Logging, and much more.

• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate (Minimum 2-year experience with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings with no violations.)
• Ability to Pass an FAA, DOT, or state background checks.
• Pass, with "negative" results, a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening prior to being offered employment and be enrolled in the company random drug and alcohol testing program.
• Hold or able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s license with Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsement.
• Hold or able to obtain USFS/OAS mechanic card
• Travel to the home base or to the helicopter work sight.
• Ability to work independently in remote field conditions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate and work well with management, pilots, ground crews and customers.
• Able to lift to 50-pounds unassisted.
• Able to climb onto helicopters and open or remove cowlings and doors.
• Able to climb, stand and work on ladders and platforms.

Ideal candidates

• Airbus AS350 B3 or K-Max experience, preferred but not required.
• Safran Arriel 2 or Honeywell T53 engines experience, preferred but not required.
• Current or previous USFS/OAS mechanic carded, preferred but not required.

Mountain Blade Runner Aviation compensation and benefits include:

• Pay negotiable depending upon experience level, (Anticipated compensation for this position is USD $40.00/Hr. - USD $48.00/Hr.
