Position Summary:
The Training Coordinator role works under the direct supervision of the Manager, Airworthiness Support to coordinate all Maintenance division training activities, ensuring PHI Health personnel are current, qualified, and prepared to perform their assigned tasks. They provide scheduling and resource allocation to ensure training requirements are met, and process invoices and vendor related communications through proper financial channels. They will leverage their Learning Management Systems experience to be successful. Occasional travel, up to 15, within the continental US is required.
Responsibilities Include:
Reconcile billing for vendor training
Process vendor invoices to ensure they are properly invoiced and approved
Coordinate and allocate appropriate resources to accomplish training in accordance with Company manuals, policies, and appropriate regulations
Forecast training requirements for long range planning
Assist with formulation and maintenance of training budgets
Schedule required training for all maintenance training within the company
Coordinate and schedule training evolutions with outside vendors as required
Maintain documentation and record keeping of all training
Produce required reports for company management as required on expired and current qualifications
Assist with audits as needed
Ensure all training is digitally entered in PHI Health’s systems.
Prepare new hire employees into appropriate training programs and create required training folders in Share Point
Ensure records and forms are maintained in accordance with company or regulatory policy
Maintain and track appropriate licensing and certificates for employees respective to their job functions
Distribute and collect new hire materials and manuals
Perform secretarial and administrative maintenance functions respective to training management
Provide on-line course instruction via TEAMS for the Maintenance Standards Excel & Elevate Program (MSEEP)
Establish, maintain, and generate notices for upcoming training and overdue/lapsed training and currencies
Post safety publications or required company material as by direction of the Director, Maintenance or Airworthiness Support Maintenance Manage or designated others.
Support Company Safety Management System and Destination Zero initiatives
Must be able to cross-train with other PHI training coordinators’ job functions (PHI Aviation)
Must be able to work with a team where duties and projects are shared between other coordinators
Assist Maintenance Training Instructors with creation, and upkeep of all mechanics’ training folders

The successful candidate will have:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Certificated Airframe and Power plant Mechanic
Microsoft Office Suite
Database skills
Adept at learning new software/systems in support of training administration
Five (5) years maintenance experience on helicopters and/or systems of helicopters
Will be trained on all AAIP aircraft operating on the PHI Health Certificate
PHI or Manufacturers Schools on Model or similar type
Demonstrate good communication skills, proficient in the English language
Demonstrate sufficient skills and knowledge to give instruction on the assigned subject
