This position will be part of the aircraft maintenance team supporting the F-35 maintenance operation at Luke AFB, AZ. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: packing , handling, shipping along with receiving and issuing and controlling assets. Individual will perform various government supply warehouse procedures and be knowledgeable of Supply, HazMat, Training, Quality, FOD, and Security programs. Monitors Hazardous Material (HazMat) usage, documents HazMat expenditures into the Hazardous Material Management System, Stores and manages HazMat, coordinates with Base HazMat Pharmacy for ordering of HazMat materials. Assists in the licensing of HazMat material with the Base Environmental Office and monitors the HazMat waste streams. Provides maintainers with necessary Safety Data Sheets (SDS), HazMat materials. Must be able to drive a fork lift or delivery truck to transport tools, parts and equipment. Responsible for setting up the Aircraft Maintenance Unit (AMU) support areas to include: Tool room areas, Pre-Existing Bins (PEB), Tail Number Bins (TNB), identifying spare location, loading assets into the Industrial Financial System (IFS) Database and management of issue, receipt, and shipment of spares. Receives additional direction from the onsite Maintenance Manager. Manages the Continuity of Operations plan in the event IFS or the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) is unavailable.
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires 4 years’ experience in 5 or 7-skill level US Air Force AFSC, US Navy NEC, or US Marine MOS supply discipline or equivalent commercial experience
- Understanding of the supply warehouse information management systems
- Knowledgeable of Hazardous Waste Management program and practices
- Knowledgeable of government supply management and accounting system
- Considered candidates must be capable of working first (1st), second (2nd), or third (3rd) shift(s) dependent on customer needs.
- Possess an ability to work in a diverse/integrated work environment
- Physical Requirements: Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.
- Must possess valid Driver’s License and must be able to pass requirements for operating forklift and delivery trucks
- Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must possess at minimum Interim Secret Clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Experience on Fifth Generation Aircraft Supply Chain Management
- Working experience and knowledge of Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) or Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS)
- Portable Maintenance Aid (PMA) activities such as aircraft forms documentation and supply chain management activities
- Possess an ability to coordinate with Item Managers, Supply Service Providers, and Maintenance Logistics Support Manager on logistics issues as they arise.
- Must be knowledgeable of Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, Foreign Object Debris (FOD), and Security programs
- Knowledge of OSHA, AFOSH, NAVOSH, and state safety and health standards and regulations
- Experience and understanding of US Air Force AFI 21-101
- Extensive experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Capable of rapidly assimilating and utilizing multiple versions of asset controlling software and programs
- Thorough understanding of the Air Force Hazardous Material Management System
- Practical knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Working knowledge of barcode readers
- Possess the ability to perform periodic inspections and warehouse inventories
- Certified to operate a forklift and loading/unloading devices

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
