Job Summary:
Strom Aviation is actively seeking experienced Interior Mechanics (Level A) with proven VIP or Corporate Jet experience. Candidates must demonstrate expert-level craftsmanship and a strong background in high-end interior installations, upholstery, cabinetry, and finishes.
VIP or Corporate experience is required. Candidates without this background will not be considered.
Positions are supporting completion and refurbishment of VIP and corporate aircraft interiors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Remove, repair, and install VIP aircraft interior components such as seats, galleys, lavatories, bulkheads, panels, and monuments
- Perform precision work following engineering drawings, AMMs, and process standards
- Apply and refinish materials including Formica, Tedlar, wood veneer, carpet, leather, and fabric
- Conduct composite and honeycomb structure repairs; install inserts and mounting provisions
- Apply adhesives, fillers, and finishes to achieve showroom-quality fit and finish
- Assist in the final detailing of VIP interiors ensuring top-tier appearance standards
- Document all tasks accurately, including part tagging and log entries
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment; ensure compliance with company and FAA policies
- Able to step in for Lead when required
Shift Information:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (OT: 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. (OT: 2:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.)
