Description
What you will be doing as a Maintenance Mechanic:
In this role, you can expect to take charge of maintaining, repairing, and setting up production-centric equipment and systems that keep operations running smoothly. Youll be the go-to expert ensuring machines perform at their best through preventative maintenance and hands-on troubleshooting. Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
Advanced Diagnostics & Repair: Independently troubleshoot and repair complex electronic, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical malfunctions in computer-controlled electronics and subsystems to restore optimal performance
Precision Testing & Calibration: Utilize advanced test equipment—oscilloscopes, voltmeters, laser tools, and more—to diagnose issues, calibrate systems, and verify subsystem integration
Mechanical Maintenance & Assembly: Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery using conventional tools and methods, ensuring alignment with OEM (Origi specifications
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with Maintenance Management to report issues, recommend repairs, and ensure safe, efficient operational practices
Equipment Operation: Safely operate cranes, forklifts, lifts, and heavy machinery during equipment setup, repair, and maintenance tasks
Documentation & Compliance: Accurately document all maintenance activities and ensure adherence to standard procedures and quality standards
What you need to be successful:
A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required
Minimum 1 year diversified industrial machine repair or related experience is required
A thorough understanding of a broad range of electronic, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic principles and their application to machine tools and factory equipment is required
Ability to use blueprints and schematic materials as well as using a range of machine diagnostic equipment is needed
