Mechanic / Shop Manager

Jerry Trimble Helicopters is looking for mechanics who want to live and work in the Pacific Northwest.  JTH is located in McMinnville, Oregon which is 50 miles from Portland with unlimited access to everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer!  JTH operates a Part 61 flight school offering fixed and rotor wing flight instruction.  JTH maintains a fleet of GA aircraft in a well-equipped shop with three full-time mechanics on staff.  If you are looking for a comfortable environment to live and work, give us a call.  Pay is based on experience.  Medical and 401K are available.

• Hold both airframe and powerplant certifications
• Have a working knowledge of aircraft structures and systems
• Be able to multi-task
• Possess appropriate tools
• Have a working knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 91 & 43
• Have previous mechanical experience and an above average mechanical aptitude
• Possess the ability to maintain a high degree of organization
• Be self-motivated, follow instructions, and ask questions.
• Have a positive attitude and desire to learn and improve.
• Be required to fly in R-22, R-44, R-66 and C172 for test flights.
