Job Duties 

• Prepare aero engine components for refurbishing procedures by performing various jobs such as Blasting, masking and Cleaning with appropriate cleaning agents, as per engine manual requirements

• Carry out refurbishing procedures to install a layer of protective coating onto components

• Prepare water-based, oil-based or epoxy paints to be utilized for the painting process

• Perform spray painting in designated paint booth using the Personal Protective Equipment

• Use of industrial ovens to bake parts after painting process has been completed

• Meet tight and demanding repair production, schedule and delivery commitments

• Ensure the correct use of approved tools and equipment for repair work

• Ensure that overhaul and repair activities are carried out in accordance with engine manuals, approved technical data, and regulatory  requirements

• Document all work accomplished in inspection/router paperwork

• Read updates on maintenance manuals, service bulletins, other specifications and regulatory requirements to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. 

• Ensure due care, proper handling and maintenance of companys tooling, equipment and facilities

• Performs general facility and equipment maintenance including 6s housekeeping 

•  Model behaviors consistent with good quality, health and safety, and environmental management practices.

   

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in aerospace painting within an MRO environment

• Proficient in operating painting equipment such as spray guns and sanders.

• Knowledge of the various coating systems and materials used in aerospace applications.

• Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards, including CAAS and international aviation safety standards (FAA, EASA).

• Attention to detail and quality control, with a focus on precision in all painting work.
