Job Description:
Job Title: Chinook Aircraft Engineer
Location: RAF Odiham, Hampshire, Hook
Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
Job Duties:
- Conducting maintenance/repair, Chinook aircraft
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical or electrical issues
- Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks
- Ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards
- Documenting maintenance activities and keeping accurate records
Required Qualifications:
- Recognised engineering qualification in Aerospace or related field
- Experience working on Chinook helicopters
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
Experience:
- Prior experience with Chinook helicopters is highly desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of aircraft systems and components
- Knowledge of aviation regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in aircraft maintenance
- Experience with military aircraft maintenance
