In this role, you will:

Utilize Siemens NX to design components, systems, portions of systems and modify existing designs to develop or improve production
Support mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware design efforts from conceptual layouts through detailed design
Conduct design trade studies, volume packaging and tolerance analysis
Plan, execute, develop, release and control of product definition data (engineering models and drawings)
Perform Change Orders as required
Perform other related duties as assigned
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely

Job Requirements:

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Must have an associate’s degree
Must have Mechanical Design experience
Familiarity with comprehensive design process
Must be familiar with standard manufacturing practices for the efficient fabrication of mechanical components and assemblies
Must have ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Must be familiar with GD&T in accordance with Y14.5
Must be capable of obtaining a U.S. DoW Secret security clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Design Drafting associate’s degree
10+ years of Mechanical Designer experience
Experience working in Siemens NX
Experience with Dassault Systemes ENOVIA PDM
Expert with GD&T, Military Standards and ASME Standards
Highly proficient with technical data packages and engineering drawings
Active U.S. DoW Secret security clearance

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $88189 - $149922

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
