Job Description
BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician VI to join their fast-paced Engineering and Test team in Nashua, New Hampshire. You will be supporting a wide variety of tasks in the day-to-day operation within a Engineering Lab.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and specifications to fabricate, assemble, and test mechanical equipment and systems
Read and understand written and verbal instructions from engineers, supervisors, and other stakeholders
Use various tools and equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, and drill presses, to fabricate and assemble mechanical components
Conduct tests and inspections to ensure that equipment and systems meet specifications and are functioning properly
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and systems as needed
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including test results and maintenance activities
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Job Requirements:

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

The ability to obtain a DoD Security clearance is required
15+ years experience with HS Diploma
5+ year with AA in Machine Tool Technology
Proficient using CREO/Pro- Engineer software
Proficient with multi axis CNC milling machines and lathes
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Familiarity with machine shop environment
Experience in the design and development of specialized tooling and fixtures

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $87260 - $139617

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
