Description:• Maintains, repairs, troubleshoots, modifies, and installs various types of electronic equipment and related devices such as electronic transmitting and receiving equipment, (e.g., radar, radio, television, telecommunication, sonar, and navigational aids).
• Applies technical knowledge of electronics principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restoring equipment to its normal operation.
• Applies skill in repairing equipment and evaluating performance and reliability once repairs are made.
• Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot, and repair equipment as necessary.
• Perform electrical/ mechanical adjustment, remove, and replace failed components, and make repairs on equipment.
• Document all maintenance actions by inputting data in the Aware Database system.
• May be required to work in extreme cold and heat conditions.
• Must be able to travel to various locations.

Basic Qualifications:
Associates degree in electronic technology (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university and three years minimum work experience in related discipline or three years related military training or a combination of education and experience.

• Must be able to use tools and test equipment to troubleshoot a circuit down to the component level.
• Three years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in computer systems/ network or training device maintenance.
• Experience with Microsoft office and Linux software operation and use.
• Must possess good written composition and verbal communication skills, ability to express facts and rationale.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active/ valid DoD secret security clearance. US Citizenship is required.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to climb stairs daily.
• Needs experience using Oscilloscopes, DMM, Function Generator, Power Supply and multiple hand tools.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
