* Maintain a valid driver’s license
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* Complete post-secondary education or training in aircraft maintenance or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience
* Maintain 5+ years of experience in aircraft inspection
* Possess Eddy Current, Ultrasonic Testing, Dye Penetrant, and Magnetic Particle inspection experience
* Working knowledge of 3 of the 4 listed NDT inspection methods for maintenance operations
* Require Dye Penetrant and Magnetic Particle experience for backshop operations
* Interpret and apply technical data relating to the assigned position
* Organize and plan work while adhering to deadlines
* Demonstrate attention to detail and mathematical skills
* Communicate effectively in English, including reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension
* Operate standard shift automotive vehicles and applicable equipment safely
* Work with or without supervision
* Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
* Maintain experience in aircraft inspection environments
* Demonstrate familiarity with FAA regulations and aircraft maintenance procedures
* Apply technical inspection methods to aircraft structures and components

* Support safety initiatives and compliance activities within aircraft maintenance operations Job Duties & Functions
* Ensure all work performed complies with applicable technical data, FAA regulations, and company policies and procedures
* Review non-preplanned documents to identify repair or replacement methods, tooling requirements, parts requirements, and maintenance estimates
* Document aircraft parts and components routed to Technical Services using valid job numbers and identified work scopes
* Execute proper completion of parts tags attached to repairable, serviceable, or condemned parts
* Perform aircraft inspections, flightline operations, and shop activities necessary to maintain aircraft in safe and airworthy condition
* Inspect purchased parts and materials for quality, allowable tolerances, and compliance with company and manufacturer specifications
* Record inspection data on forms, reports, and inspection tags while reporting irregularities to the Chief Inspector
* Verify corrective actions on work cards include proper references documenting completed work
* Identify Required Inspection Items (RIIs) on work cards in accordance with customer procedures manuals
* Maintain Work-In-Progress Conformity Records documenting completed work for assigned shifts
* Conduct receiving inspections for routed parts and materials
* Test airframe connection tightness using hand tools, flashlights, and mirrors
* Examine assembly, installation, and adjustment of ailerons and rudders to verify compliance with Civil Air Regulations, company specifications, and manual procedures
* Determine installation accuracy of power plant and hydraulic system components using precision measuring tools and gauges
* Approve or reject inspected units through inspection tag documentation
* Log completed aircraft inspections
* Provide orientation and on-the-job training for employees while maintaining documented training records
* Enforce company policies, safety regulations, equipment usage requirements, and quality standards
* Coordinate employee activities, assign work duties, and resolve operational work issues
* Maintain communication within assigned areas while promoting teamwork and cooperation
* Perform facility audits for safety and policy compliance
* Coordinate with customers to obtain project-related data and information
* Recommend productivity improvements, efficiency enhancements, and cost reduction opportunities to management
* Perform Chief Inspector duties in the absence of assigned leadership
* Support maintenance activities away from base during temporary duty assignments
* Direct activities supporting safe working conditions and employee protection
* Monitor SMS compliance and workplace safety initiatives
* Enforce PPE compliance, equipment operation requirements, and safety reporting procedures
* Implement approved safety recommendations supporting a safer workplace Physical Requirements & Environment
* Sit or stand for extended periods of time
* Walk, bend, stoop, squat, climb, and reach above shoulder level frequently
* Crawl, crouch, kneel, and balance occasionally
* Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 10 lbs frequently
* Utilize eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity during inspections and maintenance activities
* Maintain corrected vision and hearing within normal range
* Operate ladders, stands, hi-lifts, flashlights, borescopes, magnifying glasses, and standard office equipment
* Work within aircraft maintenance hangars, offices, and flightline environments
* Experience exposure to high intensity noise levels, temperature changes, hazardous materials, unprotected heights, and moving machinery
