Job Title: Non Destructive Testing Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Non Destructive Testing Inspector to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and job execution. This role involves ensuring compliance with schedules and conducting inspections on aerospace parts using various NDT methods, such as liquid penetrant. The inspector will utilize NDT test equipment to interrogate hardware and structures, make decisions on their acceptability for continued use, and stay updated on new and advanced test equipment.
Responsibilities
- Accomplish assigned inspection work on aerospace parts.
- Conduct inspections utilizing a variety of NDT methods.
- Properly utilize NDT test equipment and associated tools.
- Document inspection results in paper and electronic forms.
- Complete and sign work records for work performed.
- Inspect parts, sub-assemblies, and completed assemblies to determine and approve acceptability.
- Assist with the development of procedures and techniques for non-destructive testing of metallic and composite structures.
- Support training of other NDT personnel using hands-on knowledge.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical details of company service offerings and tools.
- Interpret or evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, or procedures.
- Prepare reports on non-destructive testing (NDT) results.
Essential Skills
- NDT level 2 certified.
- Experience with Magnetic Particle and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection.
- Quality inspection and assurance skills.

Work Environment
Work inside an air-conditioned environment, Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. There is a possibility of overtime, although it is not guaranteed. The role begins as a contract to hire, with the potential for direct hiring around four months, depending on attitude and performance.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
