Job Title: Non-Destructive Testing InspectorJob Description
As a Level I Technician, you will perform calibrations, non-destructive tests, and evaluations to determine acceptance or rejection based on written instructions, and document the results.
Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
- Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
- Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
- Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
- Organize and report test results.
- Instruct and supervise others as needed.
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
Essential Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- NDT Level I Certification MT, PT, and ET.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret inspection results.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- UT Certification is a plus.
- FAA Airframe Certification is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude.
- Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and looks for ways to improve efficiency.
- Dependable with exceptional safety and quality awareness.
- Aerospace experience preferred but not required.

Work Environment
The work environment is indoors with swamp coolers and fans. Safety glasses and safety shoes, composite or steel-toed, are required. The role requires physical activity including standing, walking, using hands, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $26.00/hr.
