* A minimum of 3 years of experience as an aircraft mechanic in commercial, defense, or equivalent trade apprenticeship environments.
* A minimum of 3 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to drill and perform precision measurements within .003 inches tolerance.
* Must be eligible to work as a U.S. person for export compliance purposes.

* Strong knowledge of aircraft fasteners, materials, and tooling applications.

* Familiarity with corrosion prevention, sealing, and finishing processes. Job Duties & Functions
* Perform repair and overhaul work on F/A-18 EF flight controls and related structures.
* Identify and select correct fasteners, including rivets, blind rivets, hi-locks, bolts, and lock bolts.
* Read and interpret blueprints, processing data sheets, and maintenance instruction manuals.
* Perform cleaning, corrosion prevention, and surface preparation tasks, including polishing and dry washing.
* Remove and reinstall access panels, fairings, and damaged fasteners without causing structural damage.
* Apply aircraft finishes, including primer, paint, Alodine, and sealants.
* Fabricate, locate, trim, drill, ream, and assemble metallic and composite components.
* Use precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, trimic, and bore gauges.
* Perform major and minor modifications to aircraft skins and structural components.
* Utilize assembly jigs, repair equipment, and fixed tooling to build components to blueprint requirements.
* Ensure maintenance documentation, technical logbooks, and work packages are accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner.
* Adhere to safety regulations, report incidents, and maintain compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
