We are seeking an Aircraft Structural Repair Technician to support aerospace maintenance, structural repair, aircraft modification, and flightworthiness inspection activities. This role involves assembling, disassembling, modifying, and repairing aircraft structures and components while ensuring compliance with aerospace maintenance standards, regulatory requirements, and flight safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, disassemble, modify, repair, and upgrade aerospace vehicle systems and structural components.
- Perform aircraft structural repairs, overhauls, and modifications in accordance with established maintenance procedures.
- Apply knowledge of fatigue, corrosion, stress analysis, statics, material strength, and material characteristics to evaluate and complete repairs.
- Conduct structural repair activities involving metallic structures, composites, corrosion control, and nondestructive inspection methods.
- Inspect aircraft components and completed repairs to verify compliance with flightworthiness and safety requirements.
- Document maintenance procedures, repair actions, modifications, test results, and inspection findings to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
- Support troubleshooting, repair validation, and quality assurance activities for aerospace systems and structures.
- Maintain compliance with aerospace maintenance standards, technical data, and established repair processes.
Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship may be required for program access and military aviation support.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of related aerospace, aircraft maintenance, structural repair, or aviation experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of aircraft structural repair principles, including fatigue and corrosion analysis, stress analysis, statics, material strength, and repair techniques.
- Experience with aircraft structural repair, overhaul, corrosion control, composites, and nondestructive inspection processes.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, maintenance procedures, and repair requirements.
- Experience documenting maintenance actions, inspections, modifications, and compliance records.
- Ability to inspect and verify repairs for flightworthiness and regulatory compliance.
