Responsibilities:

• Lead and perform assembly, disassembly, modification, and overhaul of aerospace vehicle systems and components
• Configure aerospace vehicles and associated bench test equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair complex pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Perform validation and verification testing (V&V) on aircraft systems and components
• Inspect components and verify repairs to ensure flight worthiness compliance
• Document repairs, test results, modifications, and inspection outcomes in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements
• Oversee and support technician training and qualification activities
• Work under general direction with responsibility for quality and technical accuracy

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GEDActive Secret Clearance
• 4+ years of aircraft maintenance or related aerospace mechanical experience
• Minimum 3 years hands-on aircraft maintenance experience
• Demonstrated ability to complete required training and qualification requirements within contractual timelines
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair integrated mechanical and electrical aircraft systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• C-17 aircraft experience (1+ year highly preferred)
• U.S. Air Force maintenance background
• Structural maintenance experience
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
