Education & Job Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* Minimum of 4 years of aircraft maintenance, modification, or repair experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational training, Associate’s degree + 2 years, Bachelor’s degree, etc.)
* Experience supporting V-22 maintenance and modification activities
* Must be a U.S. Citizen
* Ability to travel up to 30 percent Preferred Skills
* A&P License
* Quality assurance experience in aerospace or aviation maintenance environments
* Extensive depot-level modification experience on military aircraft Job Duties & Functions
* Independently assemble, disassemble, and repair aerospace assemblies by removing and replacing components according to maintenance specifications
* Remove and replace aircraft components for repair, replacement, or functional testing to maintain serviceability
* Resolve routine technical issues encountered during aircraft maintenance, overhaul, and modification activities
* Coordinate assembly, disassembly, and overhaul operations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with technical requirements
* Perform functional and diagnostic testing on aircraft systems using monitoring instruments and automated test equipment
* Execute validation and verification testing on systems and components to confirm operational readiness
* Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults using established fault isolation procedures
* Document repairs, inspections, test results, and modifications to maintain regulatory and contractual compliance
* Review modification and repair instructions, verify procedures, and support engineering with discrepancy resolution
* Identify nonconforming parts and support corrective action and material reconciliation processes
* Conduct visual inspection of components prior to installation to ensure cleanliness and serviceability standards
* Perform aircraft modifications and ensure accuracy and completeness of all modification work performed Physical Requirements & Environment
* Work onsite at a military installation supporting aircraft maintenance and modification operations
* Travel up to 30 percent to support additional modification sites and military bases
