Role Summary
* In this role, you will assemble, disassemble, modify, and configure aerospace vehicle systems and components while troubleshooting and repairing complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. You will ensure flight-worthiness through inspections, testing, documentation, and compliance, while also providing oversight and training support. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* Must have a minimum of 4 years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate +2 years of related work, Bachelor, etc.).
* Must have a minimum of 3 years of aviation maintenance experience
* Must have experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
* Must have testing, repair, and configuration experience Preferred Skills
* Will have strong troubleshooting ability with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
* Will have experience documenting maintenance procedures and inspection results
* Will have knowledge of flight worthiness requirements and compliance standards
* Will have leadership or training experience in a maintenance environment
* Will have a military background
* Will have experience in helicopter maintenance
* Will have Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) experience Job Duties/Functions
* Will troubleshoot integrated conventional weapons systems, electronic and electro-mechanical components, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, subassemblies, Alternate Mission Equipment, and test equipment to determine malfunctions and required corrective actions both on and off equipment.
* Will perform maintenance, repair, inspection, fabrication, and modification of integrated conventional weapons systems’ electronic and electro-mechanical components, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, and their subassemblies for both on- and off-equipment.
* Will remove and install integrated conventional weapons systems electronic components, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, bomb navigation systems, and subassemblies for both on- and off-equipment, including associated test equipment.
* Will perform pretest, operational, functional, electrical, mechanical, and final testing of integrated conventional weapons systems, electronic components, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, bomb navigation systems, and their subassemblies both on- and off-equipment.
* Will accomplish configuration changes of integrated conventional weapons control, launch, release, and suspension assemblies on assigned aircraft and equipment based on mission requirements.
* Will perform explosive operations, including loading, unloading, positioning, arming, and safing all assigned conventional air munitions and pyrotechnics on assigned aircraft and/or equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
* Will control tools, clean work areas and equipment, and complete work control documents in accordance with established procedures.
* Will assemble, disassemble, and/or modify aerospace vehicle systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading components to correct failures or implement changes.
* Will oversee assembly, disassembly, or overhaul of aerospace vehicle systems and equipment.
* Will configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
* Will troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
* Will perform validation and verification testing of systems and components.
* Will document procedures, repairs, test results, modifications, and inspection outcomes to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
* Will inspect components and verify repairs to meet flight-worthiness requirements.
* Will oversee and support training activities for personnel.
* Will work under general direction. Physical Requirements
* Must have the ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
* Must be able to follow all safety practices; required PPE will be provided by the client.
