* A minimum of 1 year of aircraft maintenance experience in a Part 145 Repair Station or 5 years as a licensed A&P in a similar aviation operation.

* 2+ years of inspection experience in a high-volume MRO environment. Job Duties & Functions
* Ensure all work performed complies with applicable technical data, FAA regulations, and company policies and procedures.
* Review non-preplanned documents to identify repair or replacement methods, required parts, materials, and tooling, and provide timely maintenance estimates within the scope of responsibility.
* Ensure that removed aircraft parts routed to Technical Services are documented with a valid job number and properly identified work scope.
* Execute proper parts tagging for repairable, serviceable, or condemned parts.
* Perform aircraft inspection, flightline operations, and shop work necessary to maintain aircraft in a safe and airworthy condition.
* Inspect parts and materials purchased for aircraft maintenance and modification to verify quality and conformance with specifications and standards.
* Record inspection data on required forms, reports, and inspection tags and report irregularities to the Chief Inspector.
* Ensure corrective actions on work cards are properly referenced and documented.
* Ensure RIIs are properly identified on all work cards in accordance with customer procedures manuals.
* Ensure Work-In-Progress Conformity Records are properly documented for assigned shifts.
* Perform receiving inspector functions for parts and materials routed for inspection.
* Inspect airframe connections, assemblies, installations, and component tolerances using appropriate tools and measuring devices to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
* Approve or reject units by signing inspection tags and documenting discrepancies.
* Log inspections performed on aircraft.
* Provide orientation and on-the-job training and ensure training documentation is maintained.
* Enforce company policies, safety regulations, PPE compliance, and proper equipment usage while ensuring quality standards are met.
* Coordinate worker activities, assign duties, resolve work problems, and maintain communication regarding plans and progress.
* Perform facility audits for safety and policy compliance.
* Coordinate with customers to obtain project-related data or information.
* Make recommendations to management to improve productivity, efficiency, or cost control.
* Perform duties of the Chief Inspector in their absence.
* Perform maintenance duties away from base on temporary assignment.
* Monitor SMS compliance, enforce safety reporting and equipment operation requirements, implement approved safety suggestions, and direct activities to maintain safe working conditions. Physical Requirements & Environment
* Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
* Requires frequent walking, bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, reaching above shoulder level, and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 10 pounds.
* Requires occasional crawling, crouching, kneeling, and balancing.
* Requires eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity, and corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
* Work performed in aircraft maintenance hangar, office, and flightline environments.
* Exposure to high noise levels, temperature changes, hazardous materials identified on Safety Data Sheets, unprotected heights, and moving machinery.
