PURPOSE:

  • Must work well with all levels of management and staff, as well as external partners and vendor account representatives
  • Must follow meticulously chain-of-command and reporting structures.
  • Supervisors and Managers as deemed appropriate may assign additional functions and requirements.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Approves incoming jobs by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable jobs.
  • Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
  • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
  • Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
  • Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Must perform various types of testing, counting and weigh counting, and operate ovens.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

Experience

  • 3 –Years of steady work history related to Inspection.
  • Use of micrometers, optical comparator, reading blueprints, and general knowledge of process control.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Good Interpersonal, Oral and Written Communication Skills

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $17.75 to $26.50 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 40 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency.
