Qualifying Questions:

Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance? Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role? Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary:

Perform inspections of electrical systems, electrical components, wiring, and related aircraft electrical installations for compliance with applicable standards and specifications. Implement quality assurance and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations. Inspect all phases of goods, services, or operations for conformity to quality, health and safety, and other operational standards. Ensure all services on performance requirement summary are performed satisfactorily. Specify areas to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and frequency of inspections. Communicate deficiencies to proper persons and maintain Quality Assurance files. Document results of all inspections.

Requirements:

Secret Clearance Required post start. Minimum 3 years of experience inspecting or working with aircraft electrical systems, electrical components, wiring, or related electrical installations. Minimum 5 years of Aerospace Quality Inspection experience. Minimum 5 years of experience performing product or process inspections. Minimum 5 years of experience reading and interpreting aerospace engineering drawings and blueprints. Electrical inspection experience on aircraft systems, avionics, wiring, or integrated electrical components (preferred). Experience with large aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) inspections (preferred). Experience with military aircraft (preferred). FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or sufficient experience to obtain FAA Repairman Certificate (preferred).
