The Scheduler / Capacity Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the master schedule for aircraft maintenance and modification projects. This role works closely with operations, project management, production teams, and sales to ensure efficient utilization of resources while meeting customer requirements and project deadlines. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of corporate aviation operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the sales team by providing schedule availability, maintenance slot openings, and capacity assessments for prospective and existing projects.
• Collaborate with operational teams to identify, adjust, and communicate scheduling constraints.
• Develop, maintain, and update the master schedule for all aircraft projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, production teams, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate scheduling and resource allocation.
• Participate in operational planning meetings to communicate scheduling priorities, capacity limitations, and resource requirements.
• Analyze current and forecasted workloads to determine staffing and capacity requirements.
• Identify potential bottlenecks, resource conflicts, and scheduling risks and develop solutions to mitigate impacts.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of scheduling data, ensuring consistency across planning systems.
• Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in project scope, priorities, customer requirements, and resource availability.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to scheduling performance, capacity utilization, and operational efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing scheduling processes, planning accuracy, and resource optimization.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
Education

• Technical certification, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Aviation Management, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in aviation scheduling, maintenance planning, or related operational planning roles.
• Experience with demand planning, capacity planning, or workforce/resource forecasting preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling software preferred.
• Knowledge of aviation maintenance operations, project scheduling, and resource management practices.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to scheduling challenges.
• Experience developing contingency plans and evaluating "what-if" scenarios.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with employees, customers, and leadership at all organizational levels.
