As an Aircraft Sealer you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and performance of the customers aircraft and aerospace products. You will be responsible for applying sealant materials to various aircraft components and structures, contributing to the overall quality and safety of our products.
This is an entry level position prior sealer experience is a plus but not required.Job description
Position Responsibilities:
Look up/read/comprehend technical work instructions, drawings and/or specifications
Clean and apply sealant to fuel tank items and airplane components such as floors, ribs, spars, wing panels and body structures
Appropriate protective clothing/equipment determined by the task you are performing
Operate mechanical lifts of various types (e.g., scissors lifts, elevated work platforms)
Work with chemical solvents, sealants, cleaners
Once your work is completed per testing requirement you’ll inspect your work for quality and check for FOD (Foreign Object Debris)
Reading from a computer screen, printed drawings or documents
Frequent (3-6 Hrs) working around fumes and with chemicals and exposure to constant noise
Frequent (3-6 Hrs) flexion/extension (head bent down, head bent back), handling, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching (overhead), rotation of head/neck, standing, twisting at the waist, laying down (back, side, front), walking
Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 10-25 pounds
Climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), Crawling, Crouching (squatting)

Profile and other information related to the position
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Accredited GED.
Ability to work at heights up to 15 feet and stairs on a regular basis
Ability to work independently with the knowledge and understanding of non-conformance tags, and the ability to perform repair requirements with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements: lifting, climbing, grasping, holding, standing, bending, stooping and ability to work over head.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements
Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently required in order to perform the job
Preferred Qualifications:
1&43; years of experience applying paints and/or sealants in an industrial environment.
1&43; years of experience with chemical technology or a material focus area: paints, coatings, finishes, and/or sealants
