Overview
STS Technical Services is hiring experienced Senior A&P Helicopter Mechanics in Kansas City, Missouri. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the nation’s leading air medical transport organizations—a team dedicated to safety, reliability, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance and inspections to ensure aircraft airworthiness
- Communicate with Lead Mechanics to coordinate scheduling, technical needs, and manpower requirements
- Maintain assigned aircraft and manage base inventory levels for spare parts and tooling
- Certify work performed in accordance with FAA, manufacturer, and company standards
- Utilize company maintenance systems for tracking, compliance, and documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely maintenance completion
- Maintain company-provided tools and ensure proper calibration schedules are met
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience as a Certified Mechanic
- Basic communication and computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
Preferred Skills (Roving Maintenance Team)
- Sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting experience
- Flexibility to travel frequently with short notice
- Ability to work night shifts as required

Location Requirements
- Must live within one hour or 60 miles (whichever is greater) of the assigned base
- Travel between bases may be required
