Sheet Metal Mechanic Trainee
Location: Stuart, Florida
Pay: $21.67/hour

What You’ll Experience
As a trainee, you will complete a comprehensive 6‑week training program that includes classroom instruction, hands‑on practice, and direct mentorship. Upon successful completion, you will earn your Aviation Sheet Metal Mechanic designation and transition into full-time production work.

What You’ll Do
Install, modify, and maintain aircraft sheet metal and composite components
Fabricate, assemble, and rework structural parts
Use precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards
Perform inspections and maintain accurate documentation
Read and work from engineering drawings and production specifications
What You Need
Mechanical experience, including use of drills, pneumatic tools, and hand tools. Must demonstrate comfort and competence with these tools.
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Willingness to work 1st and/or 2nd shift after training
Available to work overtime as required, including evenings and weekends
Physical Requirements
Regularly lift/move up to 30 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
Frequent hand use; steady hand‑eye coordination
Standing, walking, bending, reaching, and stooping
Ability to work in varied physical positions
Clear communication and hearing abilities
